Vision V10

Our most popular

Vision V10. Embossed for panel stability.

Vision V10 pairs published solar-control data with a formed surface texture. Its embossed structure helps resist wrinkling, creasing and edge cupping. These are Heliotec product facts, not third-party test results.

  • Embossed surface structure

A formed surface texture across the film, specific to Vision V10.

  • Resistance to wrinkling and creasing

Helps reduce the surface distortion often encountered in film shade materials.

  • Edge stability

Helps resist cupping, where the edges curl away from the panel plane.

Line drawings are schematic. Evaluate panel behavior at your intended width, drop and in your chosen shade system.

Film or textile

Film as the shade panel. Not a glass coating.

What is Veilform solar shading film?

Veilform is Heliotec's solar shading film made specifically for use as the shading material in blinds and roller shades. It is supplied in rolls for fabrication, with a custom finished-shade channel also being developed. It is not designed for direct application to window glass.

Solar-control film offers an alternative to woven textile when visible transmission and solar performance are material selection criteria.

Compare film and textile at the same width and drop. Check handling, visible transmission, solar data and fit with the tube, hembar and drive.

Supplied by Heliotec
Graphite solar-control film in 1,830 mm rolls, made to form the moving panel of a roller shade.
Built by the fabricator
The finished assembly: tube, attachment, hembar, drive and fit to the opening.

Veilform hangs as a shade panel; it isn't an adhesive film for glass. Published figures describe the roll material.

Evaluation questions

  • Which reference fits the gap in our current collection?
  • How does the film cut and seam on our equipment?
  • What roll-up diameter do we get at our longest drops?
  • Does 5 rolls per design and colour suit our first run?

Qualification

Qualify the film in your shade system.

  • Review the reference

Shortlist from the published figures, usually starting with Vision V10. Note any TBD values you need closed.

  • Evaluate a physical sample

Ask your Heliotec contact what sample material is available. Look at it in daylight, against the glazing it will face.

  • Validate your assembly

Build a shade in your own system. Cut, attach, roll, motorise if needed, then watch how it tracks and lies flat.

  • Confirm supply terms

Agree MOQ, documentation and repeat-order terms in writing before a project depends on them.

Confirm before specifying

  • Film handling and cutting method
  • Attachment to tube and hembar
  • Tube and hembar suitability
  • Tracking and flatness across the width
  • Roll-up diameter at your drop lengths
  • Manual or motorised system requirements
  • Maximum width and finished dimensions
  • Fire and code documents your market needs
  • Glass and shade compatibility for the project
  • Cleaning and care guidance

Questions

Product questions

No. Veilform rolls are film. Fabricators turn it into the moving panel of a roller shade and supply the tube, hembar, drive and finished assembly. The published figures describe that roll material only.
